Project Description
GETS successfully executed the replacement of the aging and corroded water injection distribution pipeline system at North and South Defa. The existing system had suffered significant leakage, compromising the required injection pressure and volume needed for reservoir voidage replacement.
The project involved the installation of a 44.5 km pipeline network serving 45 injection wells, ensuring optimal reservoir pressure maintenance and voidage displacement for the Defa reservoirs.
GETS was responsible for the full scope of work, including design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, testing, and commissioning of the new system. This project significantly enhanced operational efficiency, improved reliability, and ensured the long-term sustainability of water injection operations at Defa.
