Project Description
GETS is currently executing the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of a portable jet fuel station at Sarir Airport, ensuring a secure and efficient fuel supply for aircraft operations.
The scope of work includes the design, fabrication, and installation of a fully integrated fuel station, featuring:
- A loading system for receiving jet fuel via fuel trucks
- An unloading system for direct aircraft refueling
An independent emergency emptying system with a manual pumping mechanism for safe fuel extraction
All engineering calculations and designs for the Jet Fuel Tank and its retention tray are being carried out in full compliance with the Steel Aboveground Tanks for Flammable and Combustible Liquids standards, ensuring the highest levels of safety and reliability.
GETS is managing the entire project lifecycle, from detailed engineering and procurement to fabrication and construction at designated workshops. Upon completion, the project will deliver a fully operational jet fuel station tailored to the specific requirements of Sarir Airport.
